Biography

Rebecca Steiner, PhD is the Director of the Master of Medical Science Program and an Assistant Professor in the college of medicine at LECOM Bradenton. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of Mount Union. She then completed graduate school at The Ohio State University in the Ohio State Biochemistry Program where she earned her PhD in Biochemistry. After graduate school she became a research fellow in the Lineberger Cancer Center at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill researching in both the fields of Biochemistry and Genetics. Dr. Steiner has been teaching at LECOM Bradenton since 2021. During her free time Dr. Steiner enjoys keeping physically active with outdoor activities and traveling.
