LECOM at Seton Hill Chapter of Sigma Sigma Phi Hosts Inductions

On February 29, 2024, the LECOM at Seton Hill Chapter of Sigma Sigma Phi inducted 17 students at their Spring Ceremony.

After a presentation highlighting the organizational history of the Chapter and the involvement of its members, inductees were given pins bearing the Sigma Sigma Phi emblem. The gift was accompanied by a red carnation, the official flower of the organization.

A delightful dinner followed the induction ceremony, allowing the first- and second-year students to become acquainted with one another.

Sigma Sigma Phi is an osteopathic fraternity that was established in 1921 at the School of American Osteopathy (now AT Still University). The original mission of the fraternity: to promote fellowship among students and faculty, to improve students’ scholastic standing, and to foster allegiance to the American Osteopathic Association is still thriving to this day. Students were selected for membership based upon their academic excellence, dedication to serving their community, and a passion for promoting the science of osteopathic medicine.
